The Heritage Course designed by Jonathan Davison is making us very happy. The renowned British golf magazine GOLF WORLD MAGAZINE in its latest ranking of the 100 best golf courses in continental Europe for 2017-2018 ranked Heritage an impressive 16 positions higher than before ("TOP 100 GOLF COURSES IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE. The most authoritative ranking by the most widely-travelled panel"). Heritage Course continues to be the only course representing Slovakia in the TOP 100, and it claimed 74th place (from the 90th place). Jonathan Davison designed a good course with elevated roughs and special ragged bunkers, which he sensitively incorporated into the authentic natural scenery of the mixed forests of the Záhorie region. The design of the course is based on the roots of golfing architecture from the golden era of golf in the British Isles. It seems from the responses to GOLF WORLD MAGAZINE that British golf experts again appreciated the traditional island design of our Heritage Course, which is getting more beautiful with time.
